This is a survey of peole who have actually seen at least 5 NT basketball games in 2003-2004. Please indicate how many games you saw and which way you think the program is headed.

I saw all home games and the TCU game in Fort Worth.

I think the program is improving.

i saw just about every home game for both the men and women....

Men - Definitely on the upswing! With the recruits from this year we just picked up it is gonna be nice

Women - they are building on some young guns! They two are def. on the way up too!

I saw all but 2 home games. It was a tale of two teams, the one with Shawnson and the one without.

We flat out stunk without Shawnson. Yeah, I know we beat Baylor but big whup.

We were the same place we were 2 years ago WITH Shawnson. blink.gif

We have equal talent with a better coach. We all know JJ is better than Trilli as far as X's and O's but I just don't see the production in recruiting. This next season will be very important to JJ's career.

No doubt about it , Shawnson's addition

helped the team.

But, he was not the only reason the team improved. Hopkins finally overcoming his early season problems and the addition of Watson were also big factors. Those two will be back next saeason, and they should be much better.

I agree we need to elevate recruiting. We lost a couple recruits to homesickness, personal issues, etc., but the talent level has not been raised above what Trilli had. I'm concerned about hosting the SBC Tourney next year with a team that could be sub-.500 again. sad.gif
