Time will tell that. So you mean I have no right to know about the transfer.

No, but some of your posts are odd to say the least.

Have any background on the reason behind the transfer?

who knows, she was a lower end player, so assume was mutual so Coach could bring in a stronger player. Transfers are crazy in tennis.

interesting to see the team this year with 5 newcomers (noticed another signing); addition of Zhou is big grab

Ponomareva is rated higher than the 4 returnees 10.1

Khaled-Badwy 9.8

Hummel: hard to tell but German players are very strong

Junghanns: 9.3

Kexuan Zhou: 10.4

Not stellar but should be enough to keep them middle of pack.

Problem is Old Dominion has some absolute studs coming in including 11.7 (think Blue-Chip); if eligible

FIU has a 10.3 coming in from VCU

FAU: ODU transfer 9.8

Thanks.  Have no idea what the numerical ratings mean.

Universal Tennis Rating: 1 to 16 scale; Federer, Nadal, etc.. are close 16

Most Female Major D1 players will be in the mid 10's in general and higher

For mid-majors if you can get 2-3 legit 10's then you are looking at a 5* level

high 9's 4*

Fun to watch if a tennis fan geek.

It is going to be interesting to see how the tennis rebuild goes.

Lama has relied on Kononova and Kutubidze for the last 4 years.   Even with them, NT has never been close to top of the conference.

I bet there is going to be a lot of pressure on Lama to do better.

as there should. ODU, Rice, FIU ready to create a huge gap in the conference. FAU is coming up quickly.

WKU is toast after losing their coach, who actually cared, to Bama as an assistant last year.

Lama needs to have a huge year and be able to fill in the holes at lower end.
