Why in the world would SMU not play a team that they have played every year?  NT was one of the few teams they beat last year.  Played 43 straight years and they will not come to Denton next year.

I seriously doubt they are going to renew the series after this year.

I think they will pick it back up. There is just no point in avoiding NT in womens basketball for SMU. It is a cheap trip and has better attendance than most programs, and really there cannot be much of a reputation reason in womens basketball.

this is a pride thing for SMU, they suck and they know they suck. Be on the lookout for their football to do something similar if (when) we start to dominate the series.

Since Jalie is playing NC State and Texas in Hawaii, she must think that she will have a pretty good team this year.  So, SMU feels the same and is ducking us.

This is definitely a rebuilding year for NT.  Losing Bradley, is not likely to be offset by a group of newcomers.  NT will be challenged to equal a mediocre 18-16 and 7-9 in CUSA record of last year.

Well...what is this like Jalie's 4th year? And if going .500 is going to be challenging to her than let's quit giving her raises first of all and let's put her on the hot seat if it plays out this way.

She's entering her 5th year at NT as HC.
