There was talk a couple of weeks ago of 2 or 3 people announcing their commitment.  Nothing but crickets and committing seems to have slowed down.  Are we going to hold tight at around 15 for now and keep some spots open for later, or do you anticipate us filling the class as soon as possible?

1)  With the loss of some key defensive pieces but some great incoming young talent, do you see this defense taking a large step back?  If so, what needs to happen in order to avoid a huge slide?

2)  How do you see the running back rotation working out?  Easly on track for a full recovery?

I'll hang up and listen.  Thanks, guys!

EDIT:  Nevermind, this is a recruiting podcast.

In that case, the past few classes have had us grab a lot of REALLY GOOD defensive backs.  Do you think we keep this up (so far, we have 3 safeties with no CBs)?

It’s a recruiting podcast but we also tackle other subjects including this week realignment.

Yeah, my previous questions were more around DL 2-deep and such.

These are fair game and we are glad to state where we see things now.  That said the final decisions are more likely to be answered after Fall camp starts.  Two deep could change depending on what impact the new guys have.

What happened to David Sow?

Nothing.  He is still scheduled to be in with this class.  He just isn't on campus yet.

With the UCONN move done well not for football.  Do we really think there will be movement or are we really 5-6 years out from big re-allignment.

I still expect Texas and OU to go to either pac 12 or big 10 which leaves the others to move or group an updated big 12

Effect or expected effects on north Texas

Why so big of difference in Rivals and 247 recruiting services? Rivals shows UNT with four 3*'s and one 2*. Where 247 has us with fifthteen 3*s!

rivals sucks, they never have adapted. 247 is much more up to date

That's the worst graphic I think I have ever seen.

I agree.  I actually laughed when I saw it.  What other QB's are we recruiting and have a great shot at landing.

Unless I'm missing something, I can't imagine them ever wanting to share the sun with USC/UCLA, or Michigan/OSU.  They are fine being Southwest royalty.
