Ohhhh, so UH's AD makes AAC decisions. Cool story, bro.

CougarQueen wouldn’t know reality if it hit her in the vagina. That’s why she believes the UH AD dictates anything the AAC wants. They’ll do whatever the UCF folks want and deal with it...

According to this article, Presidents will make the decision but other school officials/coaches will be discussing things on an informational basis.

I also thought this was interesting:

He also said the league would not prioritize the Northeast if it does decide to bring on a new member, emphasizing the AAC is a national brand.

Temple is going next just wait for it. AAC about to become a very different league. Build the brand the North Texas brand and angle towards the Mountain West.

It's actually a fair question.  Temple will not allow their football to drop to FCS.  They might not be in an ideal situation in the American Conference, but what realistic alternative would be better?  The ACC won't have them.

Temple could park their program in cusa or sun belt and play national championship hoops in the Big East. It would be a smart move for them.

Pretty sure UCF is swinging the big rocker in the AAC. Temple sucks and ESPN will soon realize the giant mistake they made.

UH has among the most influence in the AAC. I guarantee "The Wren" already knows it would be in UNT's best interest to not make an enemy out of UH if they want out of CUSA.
