completely agree. I also think if Jalen had stayed another year he would've been drafted in 2020.

Bussey and Fine should both get drafted

I think Hambone could also be a possibility for the draft. GMG

I think Kelvin Smith, if utilized like Reeder has used the TE position in the past, has the potential to be drafted as well.

I don’t know if you can bet on it or not, but if I had to bet on UNT breaking the draft drought next draft I would bet a lot of $$$

I dunno man.  We had 6 guys signed this offseason & I was more confident last year at this time in Ejiya getting drafted than anyone in this year’s class... including Mason.

Bussey is one of the top receivers in the country per multiple prominent sites. He is the only receiver from a G5 school ranked with P5. Through some research realize his #’s are half of Mason’s stats, which is a pretty significant point. I personally think the University does not shine enough light on key players to aid in them getting that national spotlight.

FIne. Bussey. Hambone. Smith in that order.

Bussey is one of the best WR in the country. But I have the most confidence in Fine getting drafted. The NFL loves a good storyline during the draft. The success of Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray have helped his cause. I still think he will need to stay healthy and have a good fall. But far the record I think Fine, Bussey and Hambone are drafted.

I hope all those great athletes get the opportunity at the next leave, but unfortunately only certain ones based on skill will make it. I do not think the other athlete you stated receive the same attention as Mason. In the event, they are drafted, it will be due to hard work and not the University promoting. Think back to the Baker Mayfield and Dede Westbrook... When University has more than one possible draft eligible athlete it gives them the attention they deserve. Just my opinion as a fan. Also helps with recruiting.

Why draft North Texas players when you can sign them as free agents and get off cheap?  That seems to be the thinking of the NFL.
