Sad to say... Texas being good is good for college football and our state.  After their bowl win and his postgame remarks.... that earned him the cover.

Texas has been down for several years... College football and our state have done OK. If anything might be "good" for the state would be if Texas would play A&M.

Fine absolutely deserves the cover.   But as mad as we are about him NOT making the cover, do you have any idea how pissed UT would be if he did?   There's NO way DCTF would put Fine on the cover, just so they dont have to deal with the UT backlash.     It's a good ol boy system, and there's no way it would happen.   Pisses me off.   Wish we played UT this year... Might not win, but we'd see who the better QB would be...
