Honestly I don't have that info. Just got the we got a commitment text. I rechecked this morning and was told he committed but waiting on the announcement. They usually don't like position or kid to get out. It leads to online detectives going to work to break the story first. Because there is very few uncommitted offers out right now. It doesn't take long to do process of elimination. I do know they have several "secret commits" this cycle. Trying keep kids on the DL because a ton of P5 have took notice of UNT recent success. I interviewed a current commit last night and he even mentioned that kids are taking notice. That once your get a UNT offer your recruitment will take off. Just this morning we had a "secret commit" flip to tech. He had been committed to UNT for over 2 months. But it obviously wasn't a hard commit.

Interesting, and totally makes sense. Shadow Recruiting is what I've heard that approach referred to. The kid that flipped, was it the Ryan HS kid who is currently at a JUCO.

Very good take.  It is amazing how well our staff identifies talent before they are rated.  Once we offer, the offers started coming out of the woodwork.  May be time to institute DD's stealth mode.

      In a city of 4 million people, I'd sure hope you'd have at least double the attendance of little ol' San Marcos. The only reason ya'll ever sniffed a 5 star recruit is because E.O. was a momma's boy that didn't want to leave home (like most UH students actually). Nobody was talking smack, UH fans are just low class losers and overall poor sports. The only reason you're in the BIG 12 is your daddy Tillman paid for it. Nobody cares about UH in Houston, it's all about UT, A&M and LSU.

      You cant talk about a fanbase when we double your attendance. Funny how 4 and 5 star guys come play football and basketball in 3rd Ward but won't even look in San Marcos' direction. When opposing fans talk smack and try to start fights atnthe game, they get beer, red paint, etc dumped on them. Oh well. Texas Tech does even worse stuff. Hell, everything Tech and UH play each other, there's always a brawl in the stands. Lmao
