All home games for Texas. Why ink that deal unless Texas is paying UTSA a butt-load of cash...pretty much on the scale Obama gave Iran! THAT much cash.

G5 teams willing to get worked over like this make it all the tougher to get teams like UT to come to Apogee.

UTSA deserves to get beat by 50 points every game.

The UTs of the world will do everything possible to avoid playing a G5 team on the road. They’ve had to with Wyoming and UTEP in the past, but they have no interest in doing that if avoidable.

Teams like Cal or other middle to lower P5s are your only hopes to get to play at Apogee. That’s why SMU, UH, Army, and Memphis are great OOC games for us. It just amazes me that RV only got Indiana as the only P5 to play in Apogee for all these years. So pathetic to not even be able to schedule home games that were even or below Fouts’ level.

That's my point exactly.  If G5s would collectively say, "We're not going to play at your place if you won't play at ours," the UTs of the world would have to play G5 teams on the road.

Not to say we haven't been very, very guilty in the past, but at least it seems we're trying to get away from playing an annual away guarantee game.

Texas signed UTEP for all of the alternating years. Keeping it all in-system now.

Yeah it makes a lot of sense for the UT system.  Auto win for UT and good publicity for UTWirp and sack.  Plus they don’t have to pay as much for the game since they are all in the same system.  In a ways it’s kind of monopolistic.  Sack will bring a big crowd.

This is what nUTSAck will hear from the clerk behind the desk at the team's hotel when they arrive in Austin for the first game...

It’s not like UTSA or UTEP can even fight UT on this anyway, plus they can’t afford to turn it down, either.

I’d much rather us play teams like Iowa, Arkansas, or Wisconsin than our old plan of playing every Southern Power at their place for $$$.

No they will not bring anyone other than team family. Everyone who goes or went to UTSA are UT fans. Everyone in San Antonio that goes to UTSA games go because they can't affoard or make the trip to Austin.
