Tough Standards at Appy State
Programs that know who they are have the most sustained success. For example: I admire the way Oklahoma State found a coach that works for them and stuck with it. They know they’re not a perennial contender but they’re good enough to make some noise every now and then. Could they risk what they have going by trying to get a coach to “get them over the hump?” Sure. But is it worth the risk of cratering? Obviously they haven’t thought so.- 1
