That's interesting...

...but what he needs to do is teach Dirk and Nash that the game is played on 2 ends of the floor, teach Antoine Walker that if a layup is so difficult a three-pointer should never be attempted, and teach Danny Fortson that while aggressive play is good, 3 fouls in 30 seconds is a problem.

Walker is frustrating as can be, there is no doubt. But he has come a long way. If you saw him play on the Celtics you would see that easily. But like Newy said, it takes a great player to change his game and Walker has probably reached his limit on how much he can change. Famous Boston sports fan Bill Simmons (the Sports Guy) used to write about how frustrating it is to watch Walker because he really does have all the talent he needs to do anything he wants, but never puts it together. It's a good thing Walker will be the most sought after trade bait in the league this offseason (big contract coming off the books) because I think he and the Mavs are better served splitting ways.

Of course, last year at the end of the season it looked doom and gloom and everyone was saying the same thing about Nick Van Exel and look what happend. I would be very happy to look at this post at the end of the season and wonder what the heck I was thinking. smile.gif
