We were down 8-0 after the third inning.  Unbelievable win, and their stud pitcher, C-USA pre season Pitcher Of The Year Presley Galloway from Pilot Point took the loss after entering the 6th to attempt to hold the lead.

Great comeback. I “tuned in” when it was 8-0 and couldn’t believe the comeback. Tied it at 8, fell behind by one and then won it. This team has no quit in them.

Hiw in the world did La Tech’s pitcher from Pilot Point get away from us?

And the Denton county local Presslee Galloway pitches a one hit beauty against us in the nightcap.  Mean Green go down 4-2.  Our freshman Tindall pitches two solid innings but Trauwein  took the loss.

Third game tomorrow.  I expect it’ll be Trautwein vs Galloway in the circle?

BTW..Galloway isn’t the only one.  Another preseason national poy candidate for them is from Sanger.

She had 2 rbi’s Today, and is batting .365 at the 2nd spot for them.

Why does everyone worry about letting someone from close by "get away"?

Did you want to stay home for college or go away?

There was a good DL I coached that was offered by us and SMU.  He went to La Tech because it was far but not too far.  Don't worry about it.  Just get better players every year than you got last year.

No one is “worried”. It’s just a point of note how many great players come from an area in which there’s only two D1 teams, North Texas being one of them, and that there’s NO excuse we can’t be more competitive than we’ve been.

Not worried now that Coach Kee is gone. Honestly, I understand your point but to not even offer them is ridiculous.

Love Trautwein.  She’s our warrior.  But this was a big time step up by our freshman Bailey Tindall to get her first W and will give her the confidence going forward and some badly needed pitching depth this team has been missing.

Yep.  I might bleed Green, but there's no way I'd let my daughter play for her.

Exactly.  From what I’ve heard from some of those most invested it’s a damn wonder RD had a team left to inherit at all.
