But other CUSA teams told us last year how easy the CBI is.  Hmmmm ....

So far Marshall is the only one who has won and they actually have legit guards. It’s funny because everyone wants to complain about our conference and how their team should leave for the MWC, Sunbelt, MAC, or the American yet they can’t even win games against these lower level teams!

I legit read read on the CUSA FB page Marshall fans upset they haven’t left for the MAC yet and Western fans saying CUSA caters to the west to much and they want to be back in the sunbelt...

Maybe if everybody step their game up the conference would be better, but instead they all want to look for the greener pasture. Make CUSA better first!

It's not about winning vs THESE teams. It's about future longevity, financially and nationally. CUSA clearly doesn't present that as a possibility. And CUSA is NOT going to be better. We have shit leadership at the top. Success trickles down in an organization setup such as this one, not vice versa. They go to bat financially for its constituents via TV contracts, post season play in baseball, basketball and football. Yet, our CUSA office doesn't do anything. Hell, they don't even recommend increasing our SoS for better positioning for our good teams season over season. They are collecting checks and that is it. Therefore, this conference will always be what is currently is.

So you rather go back to the sunbelt? Just plant your roots and grow where you are. Theee things take time. We should support our conference mates and try to challenge everyone to schedule a little better and win.

Honest question, what are McLeod’s achievements across all sports in Conference USA? I understand she might not have a good hand to play and we are stuck in our current position, so I take that into account.

*Win CBI, conference mates tell us how easy the CBI is to win. Conference mates proceed to get knocked out in first round of said tournament in subsequent year.* What an absolute clown conference we are in.

Yeah, but that pod thing really worked out well for C-USA.

Wonder if we will see it again next year? Didn't seem to help the conference get more respect.

You can’t make networks want your product if they don’t value the teams...and they dont value CUSA.

The way forward is to regionalize this thing and make it a solid rival-driven league.

For an example:

NMSU-UTEP

UNT-UTA

UTSA—Texas State

La Tech—ULM

Rice—ULL

Arky State—UALR

UAB—USM

12 teams for football, 14 for hoops. Would be so much better than what anyone has currently in the SBCUSA.
