North Texas is an impressive 12-2 at home this season, however, although their winning games outright, the Mean Green has struggled recently ATS at home. FAU is a decent team and as I expect this to be a low-scoring battle, I’m taking the Owls and the points in this one.

i had planned to take some time off work for the conference tourney... might just keep my PTO at this point. This team is looking so bad. Really wanna believe we can be a top team in CUSA but i am not seeing it at this point. Disappointing

Right now UNT is a team that if they don't have a good night from deep they have a slim chance of winning. Especially if the other team is hitting from deep.

Name is Jahmiah but yeah. Shooting 35.3% from the field, 11.1% from three, and 33% from the free throw line in CUSA play. Just terrible offensively. And Smart has arguably been worse.

This is the reason I urge some to be cautious when advertising teams as hitting "milestones" and of being something really special.  You get people excited... they show up... and watch you shit the bed.  Next time you try and convince them "oh no this time we mean it, these guys are great!" you will have plenty of skeptics to try and convince that this isn't a "boy who cried wolf" scenario.  

I don't pretend to know what happened with this year's team.  Be it injuries or lack of depth, this team was overrated from the get-go and it's schedule was obviously pretty pathetic thus artificially inflating both the team's ego and the aura around the program.
