Bure looked great with Modo and Lehts!

It's just too bad Matvichick pretty musched caused the 2 Philly goals!!!

Anyways, a tie with Philly on the road is OK with me!

Now we just need to step it up against Detroit at the Joe tomorrow!

Yeah, that game was NOT pretty.

We ended up outshooting the Pens 45-19, but were sloppy in our zone and gave up some soft goals.

Aubin was standing on his head the whole night and just stonewalled us!

But actually the Pens are 5-1-1 in their last 7 and are playing pretty decent hockey these days.

They are a young hungry team that could play spoiler to a few teams in the East.

That combined with the Stars overall bad play on the road, makes that loss somewhat understandable of not exceptable!

Last night we once again controlled the puck throughout and outshot the Flyers 39-22, but some key mistakes mainly by Matty resulted in 2 goals for the Flyers; He accidently knocked Turco to the ice on one of the goals if that tells you anything!

We really needed to win both those games! We would be tied with San Jose if we had. But now three of the next four will be tough games against Detroit, San Jose, and Vancouver. There are 12 games left and I would like to see us in second but that is pretty unlikely now.

The opportunity to get third is still very real, some of the guys on the ticket said they needed this loss to get the team refocused and to keep them from getting too cocky. I guess we shall see!

This afternoon against Detroit is a big one.
