Seth talked about how much he and his wife liked living in the area. He spoke about  Wren providing the resources for the athletes to excel. Talked about a few of the coaches that he's worked for: Stoops, Mangino, and Leach. Mentioned that every assistant he's lost so far has been to a P5 school. Corby asked him about looking like a badass on the sidelines during a game.  I missed the last few minutes of the interview so not sure what was said there.

I hope he wasn't put off by Corby's OU drooling.  By the time Seth was interviewed, he had already worked in a Kenny King reference when speaking to Jim Plunkett.

Wby would he be put off by it. He was probably drooling over on the on deck circle himself.

Of course, we had the obligatory Corby going full Vito and talking about how we need to enjoy Seth, and that he's not going to be here long.

Its not like he's wrong. Two years ago, he applied for the Tennessee job and this past off season was a hangnail away rom being K-State's new coach...

I never said he was wrong. We just don't need to be reminded of it, and have it repeatedly broadcast across the metroplex that "he's too good for NT" .

"Dana Dimel of Kansas State, Bryan Harsin of Boise State, Seth Litrell of North Texas, Mike Bobo of Colorado State and Neal Brown of Troy all applied through their agents."

Forgive the writer's mis-spelling.

Littrell was contacted by an SEC school, but it was not Tennessee. Maybe his agent put out feelers to gauge interest, but TU was not the one who really wanted him

I believe you’re referring to this past cycle.

The reference to TN was from when Butch Jones was fired in 2017.

No, the SEC team that contacted Littrell(and was turned down) was after the 2017 season.
