Regarding coverage in general, it is amazing that almost every other conference plays other nights of the week than Thursday and Saturday so they can be seen on some network. The ESPN channels show everything from SEC, ACC, Big XII, etc... to other “smaller conferences” all of the time. I don’t think FS1 even covers college basketball and has stuff like the Red Bull series obscure sports tour on all the time. You can’t tell me that CUSA, with a little effort, couldn’t find a night and a network willing to provide coverage. Our commissioner is fleecing the league because she sure isn’t doing much to benefit the conference or it’s schools.

FS1 does have contracts with PAC 12, Big 10, Big 12, and Big East basketball. Our conference does and will have coverage. CBS sports and BEIN sports and that night is Thursday. Red Bull series obscure sports tour might draw a higher rating than CUSA. I love UNT but our games are boring and really hard to watch.

I'm going to see the positives in this. We have 2 1/2 weeks to get Duffy and Woolridge back and humming, and Smart straightened out.

I think it's easier to do that in the 2nd pod rather than against the top teams.

If that all happens we will be dangerous in Frisco.
