I think by the number of assistant coaches Seth has sent to the P5 ranks it is safe to speculate. As far as the most recent hirings Jennings has been one of the best if not the best DB coach in the region in the last 10 years. Bodie led one of the top 3 offenses in the FCS the last two years and led on big playoff runs. His up tempo pace and Seth air raid will be a fun combination to watch next season. As for Cobbs idk if you could have found better fit for a G5 RB coaching vacancy. Hall of famer at Alma Mater, TXHSFB coaching experience and relations ship and NFL experience. He Killed It.

Joking on the part about Johnny Quinn, but it seems most young coaches start at the WR position.  I appreciate what Filani brought to our program.  Outside of one player that got the dropsies this past year, it was amazing to watch our WR's go after balls, make catches with very few drops.  It was a noticeable improvement over past teams.  I trust SL to make the correct hire.

As with the GH loss, I liked JF from what little I saw of him on BTG, etc. and wish him well (except in recruiting against us).

But as others have said, ST seems to have done a good job in back-filling, so I'm hoping he does it again.

The only "questionable" hire so far has been Cobbs.   And that's just because of his lack of experience coaching at the college level.  I think he'll do fine.  Filling Choice's shoes will be tough though.   My interactions with Cobbs VS Choice have been very different.   One is ready to chew your ear off & is very emotive.  The other is more reserved & humble.  Each of those styles can be useful though.

There's no question coach Jennings is an upgrade over coach Brown.

Most people are excited about coach Reeder replacing coach Harrell.

I'm willing to bet with Littrell's Leach/Fedora/Stoops tree connections & Reeder's Gundy tree connections we'll be able to find a great WR's coach.
