For anyone interested, I just noticed that WKY at Rice is on cable at 8:00 p.m. tonight. I found it at U-Verse 1643 (CBS Sports) and set the DVR, just in case I want to watch it for a heads-up before Saturday.

This is a public service announcement.

Double OT is probably exactly what we wanted.

How so, do you think they'll be worn out? Party of me worries that WKU was given a wake up call, and they will come in Saturday with renewed focus and determination.

They were taken to OT last week against UTSA as well and I believe have won something like 6 of 7. They’re already woken up. Them being tired would be a plus.

Yeah, plus they already have a short bench.

Additional observations on WKY...

1. Bassey looks like a mad stork and needs weight to be an NBA star, BUT he will be a beast tomorrow night.

2. Rice gave that game away in the last 7 minutes (blew a 13 point lead) by committing unforced turnovers and taking and missing open 3s. They couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a brushpile!

3. WKY closed on a 14 - 1 run, mostly by taking the ball to the hole.
