I thought surely Ejiya, Hedlund, or one of the 2 corners would get a slot. I guess I was wrong. If Bussey has an injury-free year, I could see him getting us back in the combine next spring.

Interesting that there weren't enough pro scouts that wanted to see Ejiya enough to give him an invite. There'll be plenty of people at NT's pro-day though. Just gotta hope our guys do well there.

Maybe trying to under hype him so they get him cheaper as a UDFA?

Im wondering if there is some politics going on with this. I am not saying we have tons of NFL talent, but its a little absurd to think we never have a guy to be invited to a combine. If this is true, and we have no NFL level talent: we need to give this coaching staff major props.

Guyton was never going to make the combine but I'm shocked about the other guys. They're serious talent.

Can't believe they didn't give Ejiya an invite given his production and measurables. I think he's a turned some heads.

Jeff Wilson went to the combine last year. He couldn't participate in a lot of the drills because he was still recovering from his injury though.

Guyton should have stayed one more season and played lights out. Just dont think his numbers were enough to impress the NFL. I wish him the best.

I read an article (sorry, not sure where it was) that said combine invitees are already pretty much decided before the NCAA season begins. UNT didn't have the attention it does now a season ago, so I am wondering if we will get more invites next year and beyond.
