3. North Texas Mean Green

The offense should keep on rolling with QB Mason Fine returning for seems like his 13th year at the helm, and even though Jalen Guyton left early for the NFL, the receiving corps is loaded. The O line is great in the interior, but the tackle situation needs work. Almost all the running backs return.

The D needs a whole lot of reinforcements on the line, and the linebacking corps is an issue with EJ Elijya and Brandon Garner done. Five of the top eight tacklers are gone, both starting corners have to be replaced including Nate Brooks.

Final 2018 Record: 9-4 (5-3)
2018 C-USA West Finish: T2
2018 Prespring C-USA Conference Ranking: 2
Biggest Issue To Fix: Pass Defense
Biggest Depth Chart Positive: Running Back
Biggest Depth Chart Negative: Offensive Tackle

Last season, Southern Meth fans were calling for their head coach to be fired and they were rueing the dire situation their football program was in. Now they're all of a sudden favorites to win the West?

If we don't win the west I will be very disappointed. Not because of how good we are but because of how down the rest are.

UTEP, UTSA, UAB, and Rice look to be bad. La Tech and So. Miss are both average teams at best.

So this article predicts UNT will place 3rd in the West...and SL will be poached because of winning what???? Oh he kept NT over 500 for three years and won the West once!. My favorite lib quote, "oh I see...I See"! Win the West...win the conference...win the bowl and we'll find SL's replacement.
