Slinker has had about 4 winning seasons out of 15. I don't know which is worse the fact that in the game against MTSU, NT was totally humiliated or the fact that no one seems to care. Losing 42-15 at the half is as bad as it gets.

Besides having to watch UNT emplode in the conference tournament was bad, but i think their record this year is what's worse... I know they are a young team in one of those (god i hate this word) transition years, but they lost too many close games and a lot of times looked like they were not ready to play... here's to next year though and seeing them make a good run with some good shooters.

I really thought a few years ago that Coach Slinker had turned us into a consistent good squad. We had about 4-5 good years in a row, and now we've fallen into a malaise.

Coach Slinker is a very nice lady, but her overall record is so bad that they don't even have it at the official site. You can determine from the official site that she now has 152 wins in 15 seasons. (141 on the site, plus this year's 11).

So, she is averaging 10 wins a season. Since you normally play 27 games or so a year, that mean's her average record is about 10-17 each season.

Guesstimate for her overall record: 152-260. (260 derived by multiplying 17 x 15, and adding a few more losses for postseason games).

152-260 or worse. At least 100 games UNDER .500.

I'm guessing our recruits just didn't pan out the way she thought they would. We should've been able to get alot of great players with those seasons we flirted with 20 wins and went to the WNIT - twice(and should've gone the other 2 years).

These last 2 seasons after the promise we showed are REALLY frustrating.
