Also, as much as I believe UNT provides a great education, Tulane is ranked among the best academic schools in the nation, not to mention being in the heart of New Orleans

Agreed but it is also in a very dangerous town.  They also are like SMU and have 10 people watching their games.  There are pluses and minuses to every school that is for sure.
