Since it's being held in the atrium of the Business Leadership Building, I'm guessing it involves the COB.  If it were to be something truly momentous, that they'd expect a large crowd, I would expect it to be held in a larger space, maybe even in the Super Pit.

I haven't received this email.  Has anyone who is not a COB alumnus received it?

Naming the Biz school

That makes sense!

Large donation in connection with naming the business school. Has to be over $10 million, as that's what one previous donor gave to the business program, and he didn't get his name up there.

I always kinda wonder...what other ways do people get their names on buildings at their alma mater if they aren’t rich.

Like, I want my name on a UNT building, but I’m not a member of the bourgeoisie. If I rescue a bunch of kids from a burning school bus in the name of UNT, will that do it, or is the only recipe cold, hard, cash?

Heard one time that you needed to donate at least half the cost of a building to get your name on it.

So ... maybe there is a garden shed somewhere on campus waiting for your donation?

I give you Joe Greene Hall as an example...just do what he did for UNT. Simple...huh?  I also give you Lane Rawlins Hall...this one a bit dubious if you as me...but no one asked me.
