Refs were bad. Real bad. In the second half they however were not uniformly bad against NT (I am sure Rice fans also have some gripes now).

NT also clearly got better and Rice had trouble without its primary ball handlers.

Refs let the game get out of control by being inconsistent. That’s officiating 101.

the Rice coach legitimately looked like he wanted to fight the far side official. Coach chased him down to the tunnel entrance and had to be restrained by his assistants. Pathetic behavior for a professional. 

Does anyone have video of it?

If their coach isn’t fined by the league office it is a travesty

Also,  I’m curious why Simmons didn’t play down the stretch when you needed every rebound you could get

The ref made the right call at the end of the game. Flip side of that, if they would have called a bs could there and Rice would have won based on that I would have been pretty pissed
