No but a 12 seed beats a 5 seed every year. Only eight 15 seeds have ever beaten 2 seeds, and 15 seed is the best we have ever been. Just want us to have a winnable game instead of stuck playing one of the top 8 teams like in previous years.

I know this isn’t going to happen but in a crazy hypothetical in which we won out, what would that get us? Like a 6 or a 7? There was a women’s team from a small conference a few years ago that went undefeated and was still an 8 I believe.

That's really tough to say.  My gut would say we might get as high as the 5 or 6 line simply because we'd have won 20+ in a row and have just a single loss.  More likely we'd be in the 7-9 range because of our OOC schedule.

Team Rankings shows 6 seed as the highest seed that we have a possibility of obtaining. Realistically I’m just hoping we can put ourselves in position to get a 10-12 seed if we win the CUSA tournament. Just want to see us in a winnable game in the round of 64.

A 12 seed is a good place to be in, although Buffalo is no joke. But I rather play them (or any other mid-major) than a 3rd or 4th place-in-conference power team.
