Im happy that there are no Thursday Night games as of right now but dont know how I feel about UTSA so early in the season just because its such an intense game every year

Yet.  Conference games can still be moved.  Hopefully we won't have that this year.

I agree. I especially do not like having the Houston game the week after UTSA. Gunna be a difficult 3 game stretch with Cal ahead of those two games.

One thing is that UTSA plays Army the week before so if Army is as good or close to what they were last year or the years we played them, they are going to wear down that defense BUT who knows

ACU at home, then SMU at their place is a great way to start the year!  Cal, UTSA, UH is a tough stretch, but the bye follows.  Looking forward to playing UAB at home.  Should be a great year!  GMG!

Guys need to circle November 9th.  That game will be for the West Division crown.
Glad to have a Brent Stockstill-less MT come back to Apogee.

Last time they were here:

Wished we could find that defense again.

For those who might want to know. Here are all our conference Foes 2019 Schedules

Observations:

MTSU has us sandwiched between Marshall, FAU & FIU

LA Tech has us after a bye

could be interesting....

we play at La Tech (will be a tough game)

Then La Tech goes to UAB the week before UAB comes to Denton

Could be some conference championship implications there....

Hate the Saturday after Thanksgiving home game.

Nothing you can do about it though....it's just gonna work out that way some years

CUSA hoping the game determines the west division champ

The conference has been nice in that we end up with this game at home every other year.

TX - OU is Oct. 19th, when we have an away game - again - good!

Homecoming will likely be Nov 2 vs UTEP, but could be Oct 19 vs the MUTS.

It's difficult to make it to Denton two weekends in a row, but with it being UTSA and UH, I will make it happen.  But I probably won't make the game at SMUt - 4 trips in 5 weeks is a bit much.

This is the earliest I remember the schedule being released - I can get a jump on putting in for vacation days before everyone else on my team at work.

Since we have a "rival" like UTSA so early, maybe we have back-to-back sellouts in September?

I'll have to miss ACU and SMU because of work, but looking at taking a trip to Lake Tahoe/San Francisco and travelling to the Cal game.

Also gonna make the trip to Ruston for the first time.

The Rice game would have been more convenient the Saturday after Thanksgiving because my family already lives in the Central Texas area.

Tougher season for sure, but I think there's still a plausible way we get to 10-2.
