Is hiring losing college coaches the new thing in the NFL?

Nick Saban and Chip Kelly worked great in the NFL with all of that college success.

Don't know why people are comparing the two games so much because of Kingsbury and now Rhule.

Huge turnarounds in Temple and Baylor. NFL experience.

May not be a respectable retread Mike McCarthy but it's not a Kingsbury situation.

You think Matt Rhule is a “Losing College Coach”?

Rick

36-40 seems to be a losing coach. Granted he walked into a dumpster fire full and well knowing he'd be taking L's. So, loser mentality for the sake of a bigger check is a little more appropriate.

More 5 star players come out of Texas in a year than will come out of New York in a decade. So yes.

And neither of those schools frequently grab 5 star kids.

But for your arguments sake, talent wise, you're correct.

It's being reported that Rhule has texted his staff that he will be staying at Baylor.

So, now will he have a new poster who dropped out of UNT and enrolled an McClennan CC known as BearKing come on here talking shit about how they held onto their coach from an NFL team poaching him?

Literally, yes. 36–40

But yes I understand that he turned around Temple and has Baylor headed in the right direction theoretically. Still not sure those two accomplishments scream “NFL head coach,” although more so than KK.

Gee I didn’t know his record would even be that good?

4 games below .500 after what he’s done at two schools no one else would want to come near makes him a winner in my book...Figuratively of course.

If Kingsbury can get hired by an NFL team after being fired at his alma mater...then all logic and reason have to be thrown out moving forward with these hires 😅

Dino Babers to Baylor.

In what world would Dino want that after just signing a massive extension with Cuse?

An incredible hire, if true.

Not true, won't be true.

Is Baylor really a step up from Syracuse?

Absolutely not. Baylor is literally a fiery pit of ever-popping shirt buttons, hands that fall asleep for no reason, warm, flat beer, and spiders in your shoes.
