The odds of winning are in our favor but it will be a tough game.  March 3, 2018 was the last time there was a loss at the Super Pit, so hopefully that trend holds!

Students are a bonus. We need the dfw alumni to buy in as well as the Denton people. The athletic department and team have done their part! 5 dollar tickets, cheap concessions and 13-1 record.

Thursday, Jan. 3

Speaking of two of CUSA’s non-conference winners, these two will meet to kick off league play. While the Herd and Monarchs battle in Norfolk, the Bulldogs and Mean Green will be playing in Denton on Thursday. North Texas’ only loss occurred at now-ranked Oklahoma, and 10-3 Louisiana Tech opened the season with a double-digit win at Wichita State. The Bulldogs also kept it close at the Maravich Center against in-state rival LSU. Both teams are led by balanced scoring with eight players scoring in double digits per game between the two teams. This one should be fun.

I agree with @BillySee58 this game seems eerily similar to our football game against La. Tech last season.

It will be a very small crowd tonight.  Hopefully it will be much larger tomorrow night.  

(Note:  first day of class isn’t until 1/14)

I may miss most of, if not all of, the game broadcast because of work.  Hopefully I can get home by the end.  I hate to miss such an important game...
