What's the source on this? NCAA.com put us at #37 today with ODU at #66.

I think it’s just a computer ranking. In any event playing @ ODU won’t be easy and even making it to that with only one loss is going to be a big challenge.

It's from www.teamrankings.com.  They'll email the latest standings (according to their models) after each game.

Got to think Western Kentucky might be the best team left on our schedule. They don't have the best record but they still have Hollingsworth and added 5 star center who's played well so far as a freshman. They're only going to get better as the year goes along.

ODU in Norfolk is gonna be a hell of a test.

Beat Syracuse earlier this year on the road.

I saw that. Is that a more impressive win than beating Wisconsin at home? Syracuse has been relatively down the past few years while Wisconsin is consistently in the top 25 year after year.

I actually watched a lot of this game and thought it was impressive at the time, but they followed that loss up with another loss to Buffalo.

Buffalo is having a good year record wise but I don't know enough about their schedule to say if their record means much.

Back to WKU, Hollingsworth is one of the better players in C-USA IMO and Bassey, the 5 star true freshman center, is having a good year so far. They'll get better as the year goes on and have the star power to make a run in the C-USA tourney. We'll see how things play out but we all need to keep an eye on that team.

Buffalo is legit.

ODU will be tough as will WKU, but there is no reason we can't beat either of these teams if we play our game.  I don't think there is a deeper team in the league than us.
