Not sure why Rice isn't covering Smart...he's taking over the game with 3 after 3.

We were already the deepest team in the country (players averaging double figures).  Hard to gameplan for all that then see another guy emerge.

The confidence Woolridge plays with was key to keeping us from unraveling midway through the 1st half.  What a stud!

This is a resilient bunch with a winning mentality.  Sure to be an exciting ride in conference play.

The team I watched over the last 25 minutes of this game is the team I hope we see the rest of the way. That was a good road win against a team that came out firing on all cylinders.

Very nice to see this team come out and kick someone's ass, as projected! Especially in a Conference game!

One-in-a-row is not a trend, so let's put another game together for LA Tech. Then the train will be moving!

When was the last time we were 13-1?

At a glance, looks like we were 13-2 in 2011 and 1977.

Other than that, this is our best start since 1923, when we both started and finished the season 13-1.

Playing for history in the new year.

Not often do you get a win when the other team shots over 50% from the three, and makes 19 more free throws.  A very un-NT like game with all the scoring, but Rice's Martin who didn't even start could not be stopped.

Smart had his best game of the year and hopefully he will live up to his pre-season all conference selection.  Z. Simmons if he can curtail his fouls will be a force in conference play.   Woolridge is shooting more and had another great game.  He had 24 pts., 10 rebounds, 6 assists with no turnovers.    If there is a better point guard in the league, he has to be incredible.

If Woolridge could pull up from 15-17 feet out it will open up even more drives for him.  They sag way off of him. When we bogged down in the first half (only had 20 pts the first 13min of the game), they sagged off and he didn’t do anything out there. Very impressed how hard they play on both ends.  They are very unselfish and that’s refreshing to see. Love to see all the off ball movement.
