Does he want to? Isn't being a D1 football coach way more time demanding than a high school coach?

Depends who you work for in HS.  But pay is much more for position coaches... it’d be worth it for him

Only if you see him as an OC here if Graham leaves after next season and Seth stays.

How do you figure??? Some of the most well paid asst Hs coaches dont make 70 a year.... he’d be close to doubling his pay as RB coach here.

Job security.  The bump in pay is great but it could be just for one year if Seth leaves. And what is the over under on how long Seth stays, three to four years or less?

If SL has a successful enough year with PC on staff to land a top P5 gig, it will almost certainly be good for PC.  Either (1) SL takes PC with him to new gig (most likely, based on how things went with K-State), (2) PC gets hired by a new UNT HC, or (3) PC gets a coaching gig somewhere else.  Once he's been admitted to the college coaching fraternity and continues to have success, he'll stay at that level until he decides he doesn't want to do it anymore.

That said, if he wants to stay in Denton long-term, staying where he is might be the better option.

I don't think he is ready to be a head coach in the next few years.  Since he is coaching high school players know I bet he will be a great recruiter for us and his NFL creds will work in our favor.  I could see him being our HC down the road.  He seems to be a great guy but we will see if he even applies for the job.

I think Herschel Sims would be the perfect hire for the RB position. Hes already on staff as a GA and knows the game well. I followed his career and we are lucky to have him. Players love him.
