Let's have him actually accomplish something in the postseason like Grant did before we got an extend him, like we did for Littrell, who never rewarded us for that loyalty and cost us a ton in the end.
I like Hodge, especially at his current cost. But getting him to a $1 million annual contract needs to involve an AAC title of some sort and/or NCAA Tournament wins.
I've reached out to over ten people who normally don't attend the games and encouraged them to come Saturday. They didn't know about the tailgate activities, and some may bring their kids. Sometimes people just need a little nudge to motivate them to attend. I hope we will have multiple gates and ticket windows open. It would be nice to have more than two concession stands open as well. Don't give people who show up for the first time a reason to complain. Make it a great experience and maybe they will come back. GMG!
Yes. It's very easy to see. I am sort of surprised they have let him continue on in this experiment. And it's not that he does a terrible job, but it's pretty clear he gets outcoached pretty frequently. He also hasn't won the AAC reg season and I think has only won the AAC tourney once. However he has won the NIT, and has won 1 tournament game, and has won 20+ game each season. But take names away and post resumes only, UNT and Memphis' success since Grant being hired at UNT and Hardaway at Memphis are mirrored of each other. I would even say that UNT's resume might be better. UNT has won their conf reg season and conf tourney and UNT also has a CBI trophy. So, if anything, since 2016, UNT has generally been a better basketball program. Now, the caveat to this is that we weren't competing with a surging UH team.
