Booked at the Marriott on points which is the team hotel. Rates we’re $141 a night when I booked.

Which Marriot bro?  There’s many.

Stay in ABQ. You can get decent prices at HI Express and such. I stayed a week in the one out by the Indian museum. Not a terrible drive from the stadium but not close at all

Thanks for the recommendation.

My super fancy La Quinta is booked.

Don't judge me, I already threw up in my mouth knowing I'm paying $420 to fly to Albu-f'ing-querque New Mexico because our conference is inept.  I couldn't bear to pay much more.

And it's a 25 minute walk from the stadium, so hopefully I can stumble back after I drink a lot during the game.

I say stay in Santa Fe. One hour drive, better hotels, places to eat, downtown area is walkable and has a nice square.

Think the train runs on Saturday’s but you’d need a ride from downtown to UNM

Marriott pyramid is a nice hotel in a better part of town if there is such a place in Albuquerque.   Hyatt downtown is also a nice hotel.  Never, Never stay in a hotel located on Central Blvd.  Central Blvd is to Albuquerque what Harry Hines is to Dallas.

Good Mexican Food place (not tex-mex) is Casa de Benivdas on 4th street.  Try the Carne Adovada. If they ask you red or green, they are asking what chile you want on it.  If you want to be like a native say Christmas. You get both.

The Airport is really close to the stadium do hotels around the airport are OK.  If you driving in your pickup good luck hope it is there when getting ready to go home.   One of the highest cities for car thefts in the country.  Also, it is a violent city.

Night can get cold they are going down to 19 tonight. If someone asks for going to ski Sandia West it is a joke.  It is the rock side of the mountain the ski is on the east side of the mountain.  I never noticed while I lived there but people from out of town say the people are not friendly.

Do not bring Bob Davies back with you.
