The Frisco Bowl had to find an alternate for the AAC and has scheduled Ohio vs San Diego State for the December 19 bowl game.

Wren, please try to trade with SDSU before any travel plans are made.

Frisco vs Ohio isn't better.

Who wants to play in a soccer stadium anyway?

I would rather travel to New Mexico.

And, who wouldn't want to drive through beautiful Childress, Texas on the way???? or Quanah?  Or Chilocothe?

The FCS National Championship plays there every year. Its a great stadium to watch football.

For what? Most G5 stadiums are too big. Most of the G5 Bowl games will be played in empty stadiums. NM Bowl will be seriously empty on December 15th.

For our fanbase at a local bowl.

For what it’s worth Toyota Stadium is a phenomenal football venue and would be a blast. Obvious negative is how hard the ticket would be to get.

Whoever the other team is would get an allotment of tickets of their own.  We may have as many NT fans at the NM Bowl as we would have in Frisco due to the size of Toyota Stadium.   We would have to turn away too many fans to play there.

The Frisco Bowl will NEVER work for us.

Right. I acknowledged the size issue. Preferably it would be a far away team with a smaller fan base and we could pack it on our own. It’s like an 18,000 seat stadium and very loud. I still think it would be fun. You’re right though, it’ll likely never happen for the size reason.
