sorry Rick, but SMU going bowling doesnt help us in any way.  Who gives a damn about our strength of schedule when we have 3 losses.  It's now about recruiting, and saying that we went to a bowl and they didnt is a win in living rooms.

No explain it to me. Explain it to me. 

Explain why YOU want our Metroplex rival to go to a bowl - a bowl which could be a better bowl than we get despite having more wins. They could win that bowl and gain recruiting momentum, rather than having a worse season than they did last year. 

The strength of schedule ship sailed after the UAB loss. We were probably going to the same bowl no matter what anyway.
