What is our home schedule looking like for next year? Fine's senior year and just about everyone back on offense. Could break the attendance record again...weather permitting!

Abilene Christian and Houston are the OOC home games. In division will be UAB, UTSA, and UTEP. Not sure who our cross-division home game will be against but it should be either WKU, FIU, or Charlotte. Won’t be FAU or ODU since we had them the last two years and shouldn’t be Marshall or MTSU because we had them the two years prior. Charlotte is the only CUSA team we haven’t played in football so good chance they are one of our two cross-division opponents.

Here’s a mock of what it could be

• Abilene Christian

• Houston

• UAB

• UTEP

• Charlotte

• UTSA

According to Marshall fans on the CUSA board, they are coming to Apogee in 2021. Supposedly there was an article in their local paper that had their crossover games for the next 10ish years. They never did post a link though.

A pathetic far flung conference filled with schools that will never get casual fans out to Apogee.

CUSA should be 2 separate conferences.  With TV revenues projected to dwindle even more,  it will be forced to divide in due time because of traveling costs.

Anyone else surprised that one of CUSA’s top schools in recent years (FAU) cannot draw flies for their home games & even their bowl game last year?

GMG!

Houston will be a sellout, if not, it'll be very close. UAB and UTSA seem to travel well.

A sell out would be crazy!  The LaTech game was such a great atmosphere!  The “North” “Texas” chant was the best I’ve ever heard!

Hope the Abilene Christian game is the home opener. That is usually a big crowd regardless of the opponent. The away game vs. SMUT will be tough with the way they have improved.

I actually prefer when we play SMU in Dallas...it's like we get an extra home game

You don't like Houston, Nutsak and possible defending conference champ UAB all at apogee? Those will all be big crowds with decent weather. Make Charlotte homecoming, ACU the home opener and you should have 5 crowds of 26-28 k. UTEP should be better and they usually travel well here. That's not a horrible home schedule.

I'll be there regardless. But that doesn't move the needle for me outside of UH. Utsa is awful. UAB no one cares about. Charlotte is a joke. UTEP and ACU speak for themselves. It's a very meh schedule. If I'm disinterested, the casuals will care less.

ACU game is Labor Day weekend.  That will probably lower attendance a little.

For ACU this is a Labor Day weekend destination. I predict Eastside will have a record weekend of sales.

There is very little chance of this game being televised, therefore North Texas has freedom to schedule the kickoff at a decent hour.

Average temperature for this date is in the low 90's with the record high being 111. The sun does not set on this date until 7:56 .

Scheduling a kickoff before 7:30 that evening would just be the athletic department giving the finger to the students and fans of North Texas.

Yeah, hopefully this is an evening game. Regardless, Houston will be the best traveling fanbase for 2019. UNT fans need to prepare, because there will be an overlap in red all over the stadium.

Yeah, I know that most people with families love leaving the game at 10:30-11, so it sure would be rude of them to schedule the game to end at a decent hour.

It wouldn't be so bad if kickoff was at 7:30.

Thank you for your concern for the safety and well being of our fans of all ages. I hadn't even considered the dangers to families with young children that may be trapped outside in a heat wave with no access to shade.
