Major basically accusing him of packing it in & not playing for his teammates.

I admire Major for that, but maybe not at that particular time.

That's not what I get out of the story.  If Major is telling the truth, he was applying his policy equally to all players not playing.

If this is true then nothing but respect to Major. It's great to see someone who still puts the "TEAM" first and not the individual player or select few players

Oliver was basically trying to put hands on Major on their way back to the locker room while on the field. Assistants were having to calm him down and practically hold him back. All while Oliver was verbally assaulting Major. All in the name of a jacket. Ed Oliver should have been told to pack his bags and kick rocks. But for the sake of future recruiting, they are tolerating his childish antics.
