...but that's all he did last night.   It's all he ever does.   If it's not a designed run, he'll make 1 very quick read & tuck/run if it's not there.

And obviously FAU did not know this about him, even though every Mean Green fan knew exactly what was coming.

It's like they thought, "Oh, next man up... same old Air Raid offense though.  We won't make any adjustments to our defense."

That said, I'm glad he got to do that in his last game at Apogee!

He did not tuck it and run at Iowa last year. From what I have heard is that he is very good at reading the Defense coverage which entails multiple reads. Those run plays last night were designed runs. He didn’t even drop to fain the pass. He is a run and shoot QB which is why different plays were called to take advantage of his style and capabilities.

The thing especially magnificent about Torrey’s big TD run was he got it all the way there. I thought for sure that owl DB was going to get him by the 5 but he magically stayed up!  I can only imagine how excited his family must have been to see him on that run.

That was a great COLLEGE football game; i.e. one that has a lot of errors, but that is what you get in college football. Despite a lot of frustrations there were some wonderful performances. Very proud of that win.

Crowd was definitely better than most had expected, too. I still would have preferred a Saturday afternoon/evening game so all of the seniors could play their last home game in front of 20-22k and not 10-12k. But I don't regret getting home at 1:45 a.m. for a second.
