Unofficially, this is what I was told.   Chrome helmet is only for night games.  Black jersey and back pants.

Old man problem #117:

Anyone else struggling to read the names and numbers on some of these jerseys? Last week's gray and dark green letters on black are tough on my contrast meter. Gold letters on black, as Iowa has, pop better.

And yes, I understand it is not all about me, and others like me.

It is a coincidence but I still don't like the uniform merry-go-round. Sometimes the adults in the room need to make the decision.

That's what I'm thinking. On national TV this week the Mean Green are going to be in black and chrome. Doesn't quite make sense, but what do I know.

I think is a great look and I have been waiting for us to rock the Chrome all season! Count this as a win! Only thing that could be better is if we did a chrome green helmet to go with the all blacks!
