I put winter fertilizer down last week.

Let that sink in.

Powerful... Would you recommend the same for St Augustine? I didn't put any down last year and still had great results in the spring.

Light layer of peat moss.  Aerate.

I don't really know what kind of grass I have, whenever the HOA gets really mad about the dead spots I just have it re-sodded.  What would recommend?

Lots of folks have been able to reseed with something like Scott's EZ Patch.  Easy to apply and pretty inexpensive.

Good for UAB. They deserve it. Hopefully they can take down A&M this week. This isn't us because we can't beat teams when we need to. Mostly because our team lacks discipline, makes poor choices on the field, and doesn't compete for 4 quarters.

Yeah, this is unfortunte. Another whif by NT football. 2nd half meltdowns are a product of coaching. This is the kind of stuff we used to see from Teflon Todd and his inability to coach himself out of a paper sack.  SL needs to get that corrected if he’s expecting to high tail it outta here on a million dollar money train to the big boys.
