That kinda' summarizes some of the problems with the unlimited transfers and NIL.
Here's a coach that gives a kid a chance, develops him, and he plays great.
Now, a P2 team with unlimited $'s can just come in and buy the kid. As has been mentioned, the lower level schools are becoming a farm system for the P2. In this case, it happens to be from a "P4" instead of from our level, but that simply skips a step.
And for those that say this is the same as what happens in the corporate world, it is similar. BUT University athletics isn't supposed to be a business. It's intended to offer avenues for students to get a degree that they may not have funding for otherwise. The sports teams are supposed to be part of something that represents the university similar to what is done in ALL high schools around the country. It's part of the American culture.
