I don’t think they could advertise with the athletic department because of the gambling aspect. But fund an acedemic scholarship or just straight donate, possibly.

I'm trying to look this up.  There a numerous casino sponsorships of pro teams in the US, but I can't find one in college. 

Edit:  Viejas Casino has naming rights to San Diego St's on campus basketball arena.

I stand corrected. 

But kind of begs the (semi-rhetorical) question of why gambling establishments should be able to advertise with amateur sports...
