Huh. I just realized we're in a benign but interesting spot at this current moment in time: we're the only team with a 7-2 record in the entire country as of this writing.

Looooooots of 7-1s. The few top dogs at 8-0. But no 8-1s or 9-0s.

Two takeaways:

  1. Ughhhhhhh those two losses seemingly hurt more now, for some reason. All of a measly 10 points combined...
  2. Sheesh, we sure are getting our BYEs late this season.

Keep in mind that this unique ranking system ranks how teams performance vs. expectations.   You could be an awful team and rank really high if you aren’t nearly as awful as you were expected to be.  Likewise, teams that are really good could rank lower if they were expected to be fantastic. 

Weird but interesting list.
