The combined record of our remaining opponents is 9-22. We need to finish strong.

To note: Our 12 opponents at this point in the season has a combined record of 36-49. There is currently 4 winning teams of the 12...Incarnate Word, Liberty, La Tech, and UAB.

Just some food for thought.

It would be pretty amazing to be sitting here on October 23rd knowing I watched the last Mean Green football loss of 2018 last weekend.

I do think we win our bowl this year wherever we land!

That's bold given we have no idea the location or opponent. What if we get paired with Boise in New Mexico?

I think we should go 4-0. I think the FAU game will be tricky regardless of their record. Teams know how to beat us. Kiffin can manipulate a blueprint and make it better.

I also think utsa will be difficult only because they treat us like the New England Patriots.

We should, however, go 4-0 to end the reg season. But being theoretical, we should have beaten UAB and LaTech.

That would be a heckuva game.

We would have to score more than 21. They are a physical team on both sides of the LOS. So we would probably struggle if history tells us anything.

Oh absolutely.
But this is one of the few G5's out there who have built up enough clout that you're playing with house money against them.
Win, and it's a feather in the cap.
Lose, and eh, it's Boise St., they're always good!
We seem to do better in those games.

I think we will go 3-1, with a loss against FAU. That UTSA game worries me, though--I can see a WTF loss there, where UTSA plays out of their minds and we act like we couldn't care less.

FAU has looked like a rudderless ship in conference play & just lost the heart of their defense (Imagine us losing Ejiya) for the year in Al-Shaair.  Short week, with travel for them... I think we take that one.

Not so sure. I think that is a difficult matchup, as FAUs style is the kind of style NT has proven to have trouble with the last two seasons (not just talking the FAU games themselves). Sure FAU doesn't execute it nearly as well as last season, but it's still something to think about.

As for Al-Shaair: I don't think its as big a deal as people make it out to be. I am sure he is good, but I watched most of their game Saturday, and their defense played very well and looked like they didn't miss him all that much. Don't let the 31 points that Marshall scored fool you, this one was all on the offense (-5 turnovers). If their QB can get it semi-together they become very dangerous.

Not worried about UTSA. Their offense is historically bad. I mean not just in one game, but like repeatedly a-w-f-u-l. They average 245 per game, 3.77 yards per play, that is 130th out of 130. They reached 300 once this season *and it was exactly 300, not a yard more(. And it's not because they went up against such great defenses. Against Rice, for example, they gained a grand total 178 yards. 178! If Rice hadn't turned it over  4 times, they would not have beaten Rice

Have you seen our luck? Have you seen our officiating?

Our losses had little to do with officiating or luck.

Probably - but I choose to look at the all time series history.

3-3

Coin flip game.

I fully expect 4-0. Nothing less. Coach needs to have the FAU game circled and he better have the team ready to rip some Barn Owl ass. 10-2 finish would be a freakin’ awesome year.
