Huge Win for our women! Looks like if everything goes right, a win Sunday against a poor FIU team gives the UNT soccer team the regular season title and the #1 seed going into the tournament.

We still have MTSU and ODU on the road next week. I’d imagine we can’t lose both and still have the regular season title. Both of those games are weather reschedules and make for a brutal final stretch since we will just stay in Norfolk following that game for the conference tournament.

If Rice beats FAU tomorrow at home and our women take care of FIU which we should, then we will rap up the #1 seed/title. Last two games would be more about RPI/rankings. Rice needs the win tomorrow to get into the tournament...look for the upset!

I thought it was weird they played at Guyer High School. Really hoping that even if they don’t win the conference tournament North Texas can still get into the NCAA tournament.

Our ladies are firing on all cylinders. They will win the conference and the conference tournament. If they play like they are capable of playing, they should move through the tournament relatively easily. There is no other team in CUSA in their league. If they play like they played against WKU, look out. They were missing Taylor Torres for WKU so I do not expect that to happen again.
