A plea to our "football-only" fans
That post was in response to the following: "If UNT can give College GameDay a reason to show up or get some sort of national attention, EVERYBODY gets on the bandwagon." The claim was we needed some sort of national attention. My response was that we won an NIT championship that a bunch of other name brands have also recently won. My conclusion is an NIT championship qualifies as "some sort of national attention." It had nothing to do with overall success. I didn't read your post past the deep NCAA tournament runs comment. None of your first paragraph was relevant to the original claim and my response. I guess thanks for info? -
