Power Conferences making their move to take full control
I dont see the NCAA giving up control, this is their biggest cash cow, its very successful, its the greatest tournament in American sports. I think this is more of a tactic, there has been talk of expanding the tournament and other changes, I think the Power 4 want to make sure they have a big seat at the table when those discussions take place. The NCAA has a bit ore pull when it comes to basketball and the tournament, then they do with football. The NCAA has a TV deal through 2032, and I just dont see the power 4 being willing to walk away from that anytime soon. -

I feel like that's only been in the last handful of years. Didn't it used to be in the Spring sometime?
