I foud it difficult to follow NT hockey this year, as the few times I monitored the old UNT hockey website, it had not been updated since last year.

Someone posted they were playing in Austin last weekend.

Apparently, we did not win the conference title this year (a first), and we were playing to try to get to a state final game. I think we were playing Tech, with a chance to play another game vs. possibly Texas.

Where was SMU?

Did NT win either game?

Any news on why the team wasn't as good as in the past, or are other teams catch up?

Any help would be appreciated.

I assume this is a club team, thus news is going to be hard to find on them.

Is a club team, but beating SMU 9-4 in a packed house last year, for the league championship was one of my favorite non-football NT moments.

I stumbled upon the website last year in time to see two games. Beat UT and beat SMU. Both a lot of fun but the crowd at the SMU game, about 65% NT, 35% SMU was loud, into it and both teams fans were ready to throw by the end of the game!

Club hockey, but high level. We had at least three guys who had transferred from being on scholarship hockey teams up North.
