I think they definitely will.

Unless it rains...

You mean unless it's  looks like rain.

Embarrassing

Everything was strange about this game setup.  It was strangely early for early October.

Had this game been tonight after it cleared out beautifully I bet you have another awesome crowd.

It seems like the sun is out everywhere else even down in Austin!

Loved watching the second half. Would have loved to be there in person. Overall solid win by the Great guys.

There was bad weather to start the game, even delayed kickoff 30 min because of lighting. Game was also on ESPN3. Lots of factors that went against a good turn out. The hardcore fans made it out.

You gotta check your weather radar better folks.  By 11 a.m. every indication showed it was moving out.

A damp spot is how wet the stands were by 2nd half.

This team certainly did deserve better.

I agree on later kicks being better. But if you think a 6 or 6:30 kick would have had a SMU/La Tech kind of crowd I have ocean front property in Celina to sell you.

Watching 4-2 Memphis at home vs #10 UCF and their crowd is afraid of the rain also.

That's a 60k plus seat stadium. Just got home and watching it as well. They probably have 3 times what we did today.

Try sitting on the front row.  All your "dryness" has accumulated down here.   Apparently, Apogee designers didn't consider the concept of drainage.

Sometimes I think this board is more disappointed with attendance than happy with a victory.

Sometimes I think people totally misunderstand what a topic is about.

The game was only delayed because of lightning in the "area". The rain was done around 12:30. All ANYONE had to do is check the radar and see that it was moving out. Even another poster on here posted the projected radar last night.

Edit: you can downvote this all you want, but you can't dispute it.

Initial thought: if we beat UAB this won’t be a problem. ESPECIALLY if LaTech loses too

I disagree.

For years we heard that people wouldn't show up because Fouts was a dump...so we replaced it.

We heard "the offense is boring to watch" as Dickey's teams ran off four straight conference titles...we put up over 400 yards a game and have a QB who is breaking every damn record

Then we heard "just win and people will show up"...we are 6-1, coming off a conference title game appearance

The bottom line is that North Texas fans will look for ANY reason to keep their asses glued to their couch.  We piss, bitch and moan when people don't take us seriously...the truth is, we don't take ourselves seriously.
